Will Leyland Cypress roots return after cutting and repaving?

Will Leyland Cypress roots return after cutting and repaving?

It very much depends on how far the path is from the stem of the tree. You would not want to cut roots that are larger than 30% of the main stem. If they are smaller roots, you may have the option of cutting them and installing a root barrier which would help direct any new roots downward.
