Why are my apricot tree’s leaves yellowing from the top down?

You should expect your apricot tree to lose its leaves as it goes into dormancy for a couple months. Yellowing can also be a sign of nutrient deficiency. Apricots (as all fruit trees in some areas) need to be fertilized appropriately to compensate for the native soil deficiencies, if any. You can make an appointment with one of our arborists for inspection and pruning advice.
