Bartlett Announces New Director of Capital Equipment

January 23, 2017 – Stamford, CT – Bartlett Tree Experts is pleased to announce that Rich Mitchell joined the Company in late 2016 as Director of Capital Equipment. In this role, Mr. Mitchell serves as a fleet manager, overseeing all capital expenditures throughout the Company’s entire operating region. While Rich is new to Bartlett, he has worked with the Company in various capacities over his 40-year career with equipment vendors Aerial Lift and Altec. He is an active member of numerous tree care industry organisations and currently serves on the ISA Certification Committee for Certified Tree Worker and Aerial Lift Specialist as well as the Connecticut Tree Protection Association Safety Committee.

His significant equipment experience combined with active involvement in arboriculture make him an ideal fit,” said James Ingram, President and Chief Operating Officer of Bartlett Tree Experts.  “Rich hit the ground running and has already made improvements in our processes for equipment ordering and purchasing as well as quality control.”

Rich will be located at the Company’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, alongside the corporate staff including new Director of Human Resources Jeff Giberson. With a broad range of experience from organisations including CBS Inc., MacMillan Publishing and Prudential, Jeff brings a hands-on approach to Human Resources Management. His practical knowledge of organisational development, recruitment, retention and compensation and benefits will be valuable assets in building a strong team that can sustain current and future growth.

In related news, Bartlett Tree Experts has promoted Richard Trippett from Commercial Arborist Representative to General Manager of the Company’s UK and Ireland regions. Mr. Trippett has been with Bartlett since 2008, serving clients including The Royal Household (on properties such as Buckingham Palace and The Sandringham Estate), The Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, The London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames and The Forestry Commission. He is a member of the Arboricultural Association and the London Tree Officers Association.
