The F.A. Bartlett Tree Expert Company Canada, Ltd, a subsidiary of The F.A. Bartlett Tree Expert Company, today announced that it has acquired the business operations of Arbour Care Tree Conservation Services, Ltd. Bartlett Tree Experts, a leading provider of scientific tree and shrub care, has over 90 locations worldwide including four offices in Canada.

Through this acquisition, Bartlett will further expand its presence in Vancouver, particularly on the North Shore. For Arbour Care, the agreement will enable them to broaden the plant health care services they provide including leading-edge soil management and insect and disease suppression methodologies.

“Bartlett entered the Canadian market in 1997 and we’ve been growing there ever since” said Greg Daniels, president of Bartlett Tree Experts. “Combining Arbour Care’s local knowledge and expertise with our existing Vancouver office will enable us to better serve local customers.”

This is the fourth acquisition that Bartlett Tree Experts has completed in Canada over the past two years. Starting with only one office in Bracebridge, the company quickly expanded and now provides tree and shrub care in Toronto, Victoria and Vancouver as well. Led by the scientists at the Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories, a research facility unique in Canadian arboriculture, the company provides a full range of services including pruning, soil analysis, pest and disease management, cabling and bracing and tree lightning protection.
