How Bartlett Tree Experts Stores Personal Data

Our servers are located in the US and therefore your personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

There are multiple layers of security for the limited amount of EEA data stored. To meet the requirements of the regulations, data in transit is protected using TLS. The data is then AES encrypted at rest using Oracle Transparent Data Encryption. The databases then store the EEA data behind a Palo Alto firewall, which uses individually secured user accounts protected with Multi-Factor Authentication. All data access is limited to only those within the corporation who have the need to access it for business reasons.

In order to effectively process credit or debit card transactions, it may be necessary for the bank or card processing agency to verify your personal information for authorisation with an entity outside the EEA. Such information will not be transferred out of the EEA for any other purpose.

We have appropriate security measures in place at our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information that we have collected at our site. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

If you feel that this site is not following its stated information policy, you may contact us at the above address or phone number.

Personal Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Generally, we keep personal data in accordance with our internal retention procedures, which are determined in accordance with our regulatory obligations and good practice.
