Cole Maier

Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Cole earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2006. Cole’s introduction to forestry came in 2008 when he joined AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps). Cole worked for the United States Forest Service, The Nature Conservancy, and National Park Service in Colorado, Washington, North Carolina, and Kentucky. He began his career in arboriculture in 2015 when he joined Bartlett Tree Experts. Cole held positions including Plant Health Care Specialist and Operations Manager prior to becoming an Arborist Representative in 2017. He is now the Local Manager for the Lexington office.

Cole is an ISA Certified Arborist and licensed pesticide applicator. He enjoys assisting homeowners with making educated decisions about tree and shrub care and achieving their goals for their properties.

Cole lives in Lexington with his wife, Christie, and two children. In his free time, Cole enjoys being in the forest as much as possible but also really appreciates a lazy day around the house with his family.
