Kevin Nietering

Kevin attended Grand Valley State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in natural resource management. He gained experience during an internship with the City of Grand Rapids Forestry Department. Continuing his education at Michigan State University, Kevin earned a master’s degree in urban forestry, studying the conflicts between tree roots and urban infrastructure. After his graduation in 2017, he started working at Bartlett Tree Experts as a Plant Health Care Specialist, caring for many of West Michigan’s beautiful landscapes and protecting them from native and exotic pests. He has also worked on pruning crews, gaining experience in those aspects of tree and shrub care.

Kevin is an ISA Certified Arborist and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. As an Arborist Representative, Kevin services the Jenison-Zeeland area, as well as Saugatuck through New Buffalo on the lakeshore. He looks forward to working with his clients to help them maintain the health, safety and beauty of their landscapes.

In his spare time, Kevin enjoys relaxing with his wife and two daughters as well as hiking in Northern Michigan.
