Nicholas Sagan

Nick is a native of Cary, North Carolina. After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served for four years. Following his service, Nick studied biology at East Carolina University and then graduated with a BS in Horticultural Science from North Carolina State University. Nick joined the Bartlett Tree Experts team in 2023.

Nick is an ISA Certified Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ). He also holds a North Carolina Pesticide Applicator License and has earned his TCIA Certified Tree Safety Professional accreditation. With his knowledge, qualifications, and diagnostic support of the Bartlett Research Laboratories, Nick and his team can answer your tree and shrub care questions and provide recommendations that will keep your landscape healthy, safe, and beautiful.

Nick met his wife, Anna, at East Carolina University and they have been married 20 years and counting. Anna and Nick have two amazing teenage daughters, Charlie and Evie. Nick likes to spend time fly fishing, hiking, and snowboarding when not acting as an Uber for his daughters.
