Travis Black

Travis Black is a native to North Carolina, growing up in the piedmont region. He has worked with Bartlett since 2014 and is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Landscape Design and his Master's of Horticulture Science in Urban Forestry. Travis holds the accreditation of a NC Certified Plant Professional, NC Licensed Pesticide Applicator, and a ISA Certified Arborist. He is a member of the NC Urban Forest Council that works to educate on the importance of trees within our communities across our fine state! Travis enjoys spending time outdoors and taking in a college football game when he can with friends and family. His favorite tree is the Pin Oak due to the childhood bond he has with the Pin Oak he grew up playing under in his backyard. Through his time at Bartlett he has developed strong leadership and a willingness to learn with each day. His passion for ornamental pruning and managing tree health has him ready to serve you and the needs of your landscape. Travis is excited to meet each of you and looking forward to working with you to take your landscape to the next level.
