Chris Anhold

Chris grew up in the Shenandoah Valley where he developed a strong interest in the natural world. Chris graduated from Virginia Tech in 2014 with a degree in Natural Resource Management and Urban Forestry. After college, he spent time with the U.S Forest Service and the Virginia Department of Forestry before settling back in the Valley. Chris joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2015 and soon developed a strong interest in tree climbing and general tree care. He has always been drawn to Bartlett because of their scientific approach to tree and shrub care and commitment to persistent innovation in the field of arboriculture. Chris spent eight years as the office's lead Crew Leader and Plant Health Care Specialist before transitioning into the Arborist Representative role in 2023.

Chris is an ISA Certified Arborist and VDACS Commercial Applicator. He is committed to making a positive impact on clients' landscapes and helping maintain the incredible natural setting that the Shenandoah Valley has to offer. Chris services Harrisonburg City, Rockingham, Page, Shenandoah, and Northern Augusta County.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys fishing the Middle River, hunting on his family's property, and helping his wife wrangle their four young children.
