Daniel Waltenburg

Daniel Waltenburg is a Chicagoland native who developed a passion for the outdoors while exploring local woods and nature preserves from a young age. He attended Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he was president of the environmental club for three years before graduating with a bachelor's degree in biology. Daniel began his career with Bartlett Tree Experts in 2021, shortly after moving to Houston. He has gained first-hand knowledge and experience in all aspects of arboriculture, from climbing and pruning to treating trees for various insects and diseases.

In his approach to tree and shrub care (and as a natural born tree hugger), Daniel aims to balance meeting the goals of clients with scientifically backed, environmentally conscious practices that are consistently being studied and expanded by Bartlett laboratories.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys hiking, taking his dogs to Houston parks, and watching his favorite football team - The Chicago Bears.
