Forrest Parker

Forrest began his career in arboriculture as a Climber in Bartlett's Shenandoah Valley office in May of 2021. His enthusiasm and aptitude for both technical pruning and large removals quickly led him to leading crews and managing the office's safety program. After three years of working in Virginia, Forrest moved to Washington, D.C., and joined the Gaithersburg, Maryland, team as a Plant Health Care Specialist.

Now, as an Arborist Representative, he draws on his experience in both roles to provide comprehensive care for the trees and shrubs of Frederick County. Forrest is an ISA Certified Arborist, a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert, and a TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional.

Outside of arboriculture, Forrest continues to engage with the natural world by fly-fishing for native brook trout or exploring the trails and fire roads of the Blue Ridge by bicycle. With a B.A. in Art History from Sewanee: The University of the South, he's just as happy to hang up his waders and spend an afternoon at one of D.C.'s art museums.
