George Nickols

George earned his bachelor's degree in forestry in 2018. He started his career in the San Francisco Bay region, performing tree risk assessments in high fire threat areas. He then joined Bartlet in 2025. George fell in love with tree care and ornamental pruning after becoming an Arborist Representative, where he gained valuable arboriculture knowledge and skills. He then moved up to Southwest Washington to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

George is an ISA-certified Arborist and tree risk assessment qualified (TRAQ). He's worked on multiple fire mitigation projects as well as municipal projects for pruning and planting. He uses his experience with tree risk assessment, plant anatomy, ornamental pruning, planting, and soil care. He values clients, their landscapes, and Crew Members with a passion.

In his free time, George enjoys CrossFit, trail running, and exploring the numerous trails in Washington and Oregon!
