Hud Elgood

Hud has worked with trees for over 30 years, spending seven years heli-logging and falling timber across the BC Coast. While snowed out from logging, he began learning residential tree care with Hartshorne Tree Service, now Bartlett Tree Experts in Victoria. Hud started his own company, Branching Out Urban Forestry in 2002 and expanded his expertise before transitioning his company to Bartlett Tree Experts in a management role.

Hud is an ISA Certified Arborist with Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), BC Fallers Certification, pesticide applicator licensing, and Wildlife Danger Tree Certification.

He loves being outside and around nature and has found the arboriculture industry a perfect career, with endless opportunities to keep learning.
