James Hanson

James graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2016 with a BSc Hons Geology and MSc Mining Engineering – University of Exeter in 2017. He joined Bartlett in May 2024 following Bartlett's acquisition of a tree care company in the Derby area. James became the Local Office Safety Coordinator at the Derby office, and in January 2025 he progressed to the Arborist Representative role.

As an Arborist Representative, James has acquired the relevant NPTC qualifications in arboriculture. He has always loved learning new things and developing new skills. He believes that any job worth doing is worth doing well and teamwork is critical in problem solving and achieving a high standard of work collaboratively.

James loves photography as well as travelling/visiting new places while spending time with his partner and Goldendoodle. He also likes training and regularly goes to the gym every morning.
