James P. Wood

Jamie was born and raised in Virginia. He began his career in high school working at a nursery in Northern Virginia. He has a M.S. degree in Forestry from Virginia Tech and is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist. After graduating from Virginia Tech, he began his career with Bartlett Tree Experts in 1998.

He has an excellent knowledge of native and ornamental trees and shrubs as well as the insects and diseases that attack them. His professional life is focused on developing, comprehensive management plans for his client's and their landscapes.

In his spare time, he enjoys working on his property. Jamie is an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fly fishing, gardening, and bird hunting with his German Shorthaired Pointers. Jamie is married to his wife Nicole and has a son named Wyatt. As the local Arborist Representative and Local Manager, he services Fauquier, Culpeper, and Rappahannock counties.
