Thomas Masters II

Tommy has been climbing and caring for trees his whole life! Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, he was an avid tree climber as a child and grew up helping his grandfather on his tree farm in Eastern Tennessee. Tommy graduated from Western Carolina University in 2005 earning a B.S. Degree in Natural Resource Management, with a concentration in Forestry. Tommy began his career in Arboriculture in 2006 and has worked on both the east and west coasts of the United States throughout his career, while climbing competitively with some of the best tree climbers in the world. Tommy joined Bartlett as an Arborist Representative summer of 2024.

Tommy is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ), an ISA Certified Tree Climber, and a North Carolina Certified Pesticide Applicator. With his knowledge, qualifications, and diagnostic support of the Bartlett Research Laboratories, Tommy and his team can answer your tree and shrub care questions and provide recommendations that will keep your landscape healthy, safe, and beautiful.

In his free time Tommy can be found bouldering, woodworking, showing his two boys the magic of the world, and spending time with his wife.
