A good find

At the Forest to Frame event at Finch Arboretum, Jeremy Schmidt set up a hands-on booth filled with insects and leaf samples for kids to explore. With magnifying glasses in hand, one child wandered off and discovered small yellow eggs on tree bark. Excited, she called Jeremy over—her discovery was a great one. The eggs belonged to ladybugs, beneficial insects that help protect trees, turning a simple moment into a meaningful lesson.
